Planned dates are targets, not completed releases. Actual publication dates are recorded separately when a verified download becomes available. No later public release dates have been announced.
“Beta 2” is the version label; build 8 is the first website-announced public beta. Its direct ZIP and update feed became available on 19 September; the website launch date above remains 22 September 2026.
Install the beta
Requires an Apple Silicon Mac and macOS 14 or later. Download the ZIP, double-click it to extract Tensor Cortex, then drag the application into Applications and open it there. The app is signed and notarized. Models download separately; memory requirements depend on the model and settings.
This initial download is a ZIP, not a DMG installer. No account or payment is required. Review the Studio license andprivacy notice. Business use is also free after the corporate-use notification.
Beta limitations
This is build 8, not the later local test build. Subsequent test fixes are not included. Keep backups of important projects. Long training sessions, interrupted-run recovery, project relocation and keyboard/VoiceOver behavior still have known limitations. Do not rely on recovering unsaved training progress after interruption. See thesupport and compatibility guide before use.

Download links and release notes are listed above. Review the support and compatibility guide before installing.
Studio includes Check for Updates… in its application menu. The published update feed can offer newer versions through Sparkle when released. You choose whether to download and install; automatic checking is optional. The current feed serves build 8; a future build will be prepared separately.
Model-list updates are separate from application releases. Publishing a model catalog does not publish a new app version.
